Article: VL Fuel Tank Service

Have a bit of time on my hands at work :ninja: ....came across these today. Iv been conducting allot of research before i go ahead and renew my vls fuel system in its entirety, bar the alloy fuel lines. (Posted it in the turbo section to get more exposure)
Warning
I Strongly suggest removing the negative battery terminal lead once the fuel system has been depressurized (Step 1.)
Also use eye protection in the form of clear safety glasses or goggles if not sunnies at the least.

I understand TUXEDO has produced a similar article in the Tech section of this forum detailing the obvious
"How to install VN-VS long range fuel tank to VL"
Found here:

Another article featured at justcommodores.com.au also has some relative info.
"Removal & Replaing internal fuel pump VL - VS sedan"
Found here:

Some pics (Basic Google image search). You could also try other search engines for example Bing lol

Hope this helps others going down the same path.

Thanks for posting.
You should have put it in the tech section, only because if anybody needs it they wont look here.

FYI:
The cork gasket can be bought from Holden (apparently same as VS ones)

Have you checked for 12v at the fuel pump?

Also check the fuses might have popped one while playing around.

make sure that you have to fuel pump wired up correctly. (i know sounds stupid but its but done before) and causes the intank pump to suck and not pump. quick way to test this is to unplug you intank pump and start the car should run but might not run the best hope this helps
