Weezy 02-10-08 07:57

Thanks buddy, appreciate it, city or beach side of Taplies hill rd?

XCHASE 02-10-08 08:18

Beach side on the right. Think hes next to that flower stall. Looks backyard style but the price is right and he does good work. had 3 seats done there now.

Used Tyre Mart, 435 grand junction rd, Picked up Two 18nch 245 Maxxis tires 80% tread $60 each fitted within 20 minutes.
They grip so well heaps happy just have to roll my guards now they scrub hard which is how i popped the old ones.

Guy that found and fitted them for me said his son has a vl turbo on 18s thats been to regency 3 times lol. anyone on here?

Weezy 30-10-08 21:26

I can also vouch for Used tyre mart too, I went in there out of the blue on day and they had 4 15" tyres on my car within 20 minutes @ $30 a tyre. Great bunch down there.

Barnsey 31-10-08 06:59

man i got two 18" tyres decent tread for like $15 from bob jane... 15" tyres are free where i work for us :)

Weezy 31-10-08 07:05

2QUIK2C, can you hook me up with some 15" tyres? PM me man. I'll throw some coin your way for your efforts if you like. I'm keen as. Don't have to be a good brand or anything as I'll just rip them apart just get me through regency :D.

Dont tell me that **** man lol.
Last time i got some 15s from bob jane they were decent and cheap but didnt include fitting in the price.
I think you got lucky they dont always have much stock laying around.

There all off costomers cars i would assume, from picky people where %80 tread just doesnt cut it lol, or off powerfull cars that need very good condition tyres to get power down. Its good saves me alot of money im not paying $300min just for the 2 tyres that im going to treat like **** anyway.

vlwagz 20-11-08 12:56

ive had a quick look through the thread but couldnt find much.

thanks

Weezy 20-11-08 19:34

vlwagz 21-11-08 11:03

cool thanks

benihama 24-11-08 12:24

ne one know of a good place to get a decent front-mount intercooler fitted, want a good job done that wont be too expensive or ne thing that that will cause my car to be "unroadwothy"

also a good place to get exhaust done and a reliable place to get tuned

thanks

vlwagz 24-11-08 20:39

most people would reccomend hi tech dyno for the tune.

Weezy 25-11-08 06:57

Unless you got an aftermarket ECU John Keen really isn't interested is he seeing as he is so busy?

______

How did you go with GaugeWorks about your cluster vlwagz, I've been meaning to take my cluster there to get the fuel guage working not sure how they are on price, ehhh I should probably just ring up lol.

I'm pretty sure if you ask one of the boys on this site nicely and throw them some $$ and a bottle of their fav drink they will fit it up for you and do a good job. Depends how thick your cooler is to wether it is road worthy or not as it must sit behind the Reo bar 75mm wide ones do the trick.

And to save some coin on the exhaust if you look out on this site, eBay or maybe ring a few wreckers for a 2nd hand exhaust aslong as its not dented etc its just as good as a brand new one really, Assuming you have a stock turbo setup that is....

vlwagz 25-11-08 08:09

i havent taken my cluster to em yet mate. i get to side tracked with other things

chinabone 25-11-08 21:21

Theres a place on Stanbel road called Performance crash repairs or something like that. I was going to have my old VL done there before a friend of mine suggested the guy who ended up doing it. He is very reasonable priced and the cars around the place looked to have been done to a nice standard. Worth checking out anyway

Weezy 02-12-08 06:55

I am looking for a metal fabricator basically, With my B&M Pro ratchet I am getting installed shortly, I want to keep it in the standard cover it comes with (the silver casing), but to make it totally legal the shift pattern needs to be illuminated, and what I am going to do is run a small light to underneath it but what I want them metal fabricator to do is cut out the shift pattern and then ill sort out some sort of see thru backing. Anyone know at all where I would take this case to get cut out like this? I really have no Idea who I would take it too. (sorry if that massive post is a bit hard to swallow, but I wanted to explain it all properly so no mis-understandings)
