No help anywhere but I figured it out.

Yes you can fit turbo brakes under "stock" steelies if you have the offset changed by ~20mm.

Anyone got shortened diff? What width to go?

Hi guys

Shortening VN diff for VL. Want to keep discs. How far can I go?

Internet says VL = 1520mm and most posts I've seen say shorten 40mm from standard (1520mm-80mm = 1440mm total).

Stereo/radio blanking plate?

Guys

I've heard whispers of some base model VLs coming without a radio/stereo, a blanking plate in the hole and a bung for where the aerial should be.

I assume it was by special order only, as...

To update the thread, it was the AFM.

More specifically, the pipe came off the intake between the TB and AFM so it was getting a heap of unmetered air.

I know the CAS is common, the only...

If you are after a gt47r I know of one. Made 831rwhp @ 29psi on a twin cam 3.0. Power was starting to rocket with each extra psi added, stopped as it was a stock motor.

Not for the faint hearted.

There'll be an o-ring in there.

I haven't done a VL one but it's a common thing on a lot of cars. Depending on the design there may be one or two o-rings and you may need to press it apart to fit.
