I've used ID2000s and Xspurt 1550s - no issues with either. The ID's don't seem to like sitting, and I always run a fuel stabilser with E85.

I wouldn't be buying a calais turbo these days - increased in price and gone down in quality. Secondhand parts are too expensive, and spares are hard to find. Best bang for buck are clean Jap cars...

Yeah you won't have issues with the MSD unit, I ended up using the MSD blastr 3 coil and they worked well as a combo. I've also used ICE but would prefer MSD personally - but each to their own.
