After some 5yrs from the last reply the soldering of the 2 clips on the posts still works a treat:cool:

Also yes I still have the same VL and drive every day ;)

Breaking VL ball joint taper

So is this the way that I have read you can break the ball joint taper on the VL?

I think the bar is big enough and in the correct spot so either I'm not hitting hard enough or the Mrs can't push...

Has anyone got a pic of the coolant fitting a metal T-piece that screws in the block above the starter motor as mine is leaking and I don't want to clean it to see if it's that or just the hose...

So turning clockwise will increase the resistance which will 'richen' the mixture, whereby turning anti-clockwise will 'lean out' the mixture.
