WTB VL V8 sedan tailshaft

As title states, chasing a vl v8 auto sedan tailshaft. Unis, centre bearing and cv joint don't have to be in good condition as I will be fitting new ones of these.

Diffrent power steering pumps?

hi guys
are there 2 diffrent power steering pumps that are on vl's? reason i ask is that i am putting my 88 calais wagon back togeather and i want to get new hoses etc but the fittings on mine are...

check 4 vacuum leaks between ur afm and throttle...

check 4 vacuum leaks between ur afm and throttle body eg: loose air ducting from loose hose clamps. that was the cause of my problem

just buy the timing belt kit from repco, u get the belt, tensioner pully and your camshaft seal and crank seal. that was a gates brand kit

i heated mine up with the oxy in one spot red hot and belted it with a cold chisel to expand it, keeping in mind not to melt the aluminium housing of the oil pump! new gear cost $50 from nissan

u will have to pull off wheel, caliper, rotor, pull out axle and press off the bearing etc. i did it myself because i have a press but u r gonna need one. take it to a mechanic mate

i actually measured this and all my other badges before i pulled them off my wagon for a respray

the calais badge sits 106mm from end of the quater panel and 35mm from the top of the silver strip...
