Fuel Questions

Hi Guys, wondering if anyone can tell me the fuel pressure of a Walkinshaw and what type of fuel pump they run.

Also looking at a brake upgrade, anyone else put one of these kits on their cars and what type did you go for

Not sure on the fuel pump, but the brake upgrade can be easy as. The VT twin piston upgrade is pretty simple. You can buy it as a complete kit, with calipers, rotors, adapter hubs, braided lines, bearings etc...

The rotors are 297mm. To fit them up you need adapter hubs on the front.

You need a 1" Master Cyl, which the walky has.

I fitted it to my VL Turbo, which has the same brakes as the walky.

Here is a complete kit.

Cheers,
Craig

Wouldn't mind putting them on the Walki, at least you'd be a little more confident with braking...spose you can always remove it and refit the original should I ever sell the car?

By the sounds of it, you will need to get your fuel rail modified to fit!

I will ask a mate who has one, but I haven't spoken to him in ages.

I would get a pirtek/speedpro fitting soldiered in then. Although this will make it hard for you if you want to put it back to original.
