I've had a few Gemini's in my time , the last one a TG that I set up with a SBC/P-glide . Always wondered about a turbo v6 set up , possibly Ecotec or L67 base , biggest turbo the engine bay will allow & a decent auto .

hopefuly have the car all back together or most of it including the wiring and interoir by late jan im hoping.
weld wheels are for sale atm. im going to be running convo pros.

---------- Post added 03-01-14 at 11:13 ----------

heres a another pics on the engine bay hoping the bonnet closes witht he rad lol but just have to wait and see.
there is still a ****load of little things to do on the car once its getting closer to finished.
have engineer come out and have a look.
only gotta change master as its us one so put vt one or something and polish the **** out of it. and change the welds to stockies with 195 50 r15 tyres and two chassis rails to run down the car which is easy stuff to do. which i was surprised lol.
everything in the bay is dirty and needs a good clean once its all finished and running.
still trying to run ls1 coils off a delco computer
more engine bay pic

on the way to the painters

only pics i have with doors on the car (even thou u cant see **** all but its was a good seeing doors on it. just to get the body line straight.

---------- Post added 03-01-14 at 11:16 ----------

all doors and guards and panels are getting fittered make sure everything is prefect then its all getting stripped back and painted so all the small parts on the car like in door jams and as u can see where paints come off where guard sits on gets a good thick coat of paint and clear.
thanks for the comments fella's

no real update to this time apart from
getting 15x4 interceptors made up and got brand new tyres waiting for them
and also have 15x7 as big as i can go
then they go off the get powder coated just dont know what colour yet.
im just gunna run 15x4 and 15x7 with centre caps for a while. until i work out what i wanna do with wheels.
im hoping to have my car back from the painter in 3 weeks.
then get all the wiring in and get the full trim in and windows in and try get it engineered.
tossing up weather i go massive cam and nos or just go turbo and try engineer it turbo.
well update pics with wheels on it and see how it looks

few little things have changed.
i went to ajax wheels on monday and when i got there to pick up my 15x4.
there like you can take a 15x8 where the centre moves to get ur offset to how you want it.
so now i have 15x8 that i can set fit on my car to get offset right so i can order them. i will no doubt have a few inchs dish on the 15x8 hopefuly. to stand out. i should have them by friday or monday. and will just get them painted. along with centre and later next week i should have them on. and painter reckons anywhere from 2 weeks to 4 weeks car will be painted. and back together.

went into the painters the other day.
fully stripped an everything in hi fill.
there rubbing back this week and painting next week, then let it sit for a week then cut and polish the whole car.
all goes to plan end of Feb.
i rang around for billet wheels only suit old Holden stud pattern and i cant be stuffed re drilling axles and getting new front hubs and disk all around again.
might get convo pros and shorten my diff so i can get a big dish on small 8" rim, but i will do that after its engineered. there quick couple grand i don't need to spend. rather get it on the road registered and start my turbo set.
I'm hoping to get my turbo setup done for around 5grand tuned.
-stainless steal manifolds and dump
-garret gt3540 brand new
-turbo smart waste gate (or whatever i can get for good price and v bend)
-1000cc injectors (unsure of brand)
-3" exhaust with hi flow cat and muffler dumped at diff (dumpie exhaust at the rear)
-PWR inter cooler 2 1/2" outlets
-full exhaust hpc coated black
-turbo rear housing hpc coated silver along with manifolds and dump pipe
-inter cooler piping
-surge tank with two Bosch 044 pumps
-tuned on E85 hoping for around 280kws to 330kws
ill be doing most of it myself apart from manifolds and custom made surge tank and inter cooler piping and tune.
my deadline is july allowing for all the stuff ups on the way. 5 Months away. hope i get it to real street in motorEx in Melbourne July 19th and 20th

---------- Post added 15-02-14 at 07:07 ----------

and the this is the shifter i gunna run.

or this one

when motor comes back out again. ill sort the glide out. i have to get adaptor plate with standard flexplate and then custom convertor made up. thinking 3500 stall with transbrake. and then sort out tailshafter.
time to get serious i wanna try break into the 10's with this setup

anyways i picked up the ceptors for the painters.
ill keep them didnt think that would come up unreal.
brought the car back to the shop where its getting built.
ripped out the motor and gearbox.
getting all the unsure holes welded up and then sent off to the painters again
filling up all the holes. that i dont need anymore. so a fair few now. i ****ed heater box off.
stripped the motor down and found the fresh built motor that was to rich and ****ed the piston and put heat spots in the bores and on the cam.
so gunna keep this motor bare and start building that motor in a few months.
so gunna buy a second hand motor. rip the heads off put new head gaskets and head studs n boost that n have fun for a few months.

gotta be rubbed n painted.

most holes are going that you see should be nice once its all painted.

wheels come up good in my eyes

in the sunlight.
