I'm not out for just cruising, but thats what you said. 200rwkw will be fine for me, until I get a daily.

I've got no quarter mile aspirations, and no idea what a fully optioned 25/30 Berlina with 200rwkw would run.

Maybe 13s?

hah i had a feeling that it might be kyles interior!
oh and about gas well dont ask me how it works, all i know is i polished up a few things like the mixer in the engine bay and that i have lycra covering holes in my crossover pipe so if the car backfires it doesn't burn gas all the way up to the mixer and cause to much damage! so backyard spec

Remember me calling you when you were out floating in the bay? And remember the voicemail from the day before?

Yeah. Those were your opportunities. I'm not retarded dude, I can do 99% of it myself. You can help with the wiring.

I'm going to PM you right now about this weekend.....

Edit: Oh, and update - I replaced the front struts with new shocks, lowered springs (Pedders; red coloured, no idea how low. Does have a part number if anyone is in the know? Can't tell with motor out), and VLT discs and brakes. Also put in a 1" master cylinder.

Lowering the back end this weekend (hopefully) with FE2 springs, and putting on my disc brake setup.

Meh.....I'll just put the twin cam on my lap (ouch), grab a chair and a random steering wheel, and pretend I'm boosting around.

Yes yes, your garage will be fine in my hands.

Hahahahhaha, yeah I reckon. Drum brakes suck harrrrrrd. And I'd say there probably isn't much meat left in them after one particular cruise......Adz knows what I'm on about! Ahh.....I got all my old Calais brakes bits out the other night, made sure there everything was still there.

I've got four calipers to choose from (two VL, two VN), so I'll pick the best bits and rebuild it with a PBR kit this weekend.

And that was this weekend's effort....drum brake garbage stripped from diff, old standard springs out.

New springs are in, but they're too low for the factory shocks (springs pull away from their upper mounts when the shock fully extends = BAD). Still have to rebuild calipers and assemble hand brake gear.

Finished! Here is a) my rear calipers I've just finished rebuilding, and b) the whole disc diff assembled. And no, I couldn't be bothered spending hours cleaning the calipers and painting them. Or machining/replacing the discs...

Thats the plan. Once its on the road, they'll be cleaned up within an hour of driving.

Next weekend will probably see the interior come out, in preparation for the Calais interior.

And when I get some more money (damn pay days being so far apart), I'll rebuild the front brakes, master cylinder, put some new lowered rear shocks in, and consider an adjustable panhard rod.

I'd just prefer to keep the driveline as straight as possible, and keep any lateral movement away from the trailing arms.

Besides, I'd eventually like to stick some VE GTS 20"s under there.

I've no idea what these springs are either. They're low, I know that much. Guess I should check the tags. They're red, front and back.
