Oh yeah, d*ckhead! I spent all that time assembling it, and didn't even think that what Billy said made fudge all sense. Unless it was Honda......

Oh, and update - rebuilt the front VLT calipers yesterday. Yee haw.....just have to rebuild the master cylinder and put some new rear shocks in, and then I'll be turning my attention to the motor......

This was this afternoon's effort. Funds are a bit low at the mo, so while we wait for the new rear shocks in the mail and some more money, I did this:

Getting there...

Only thing that I wasn't happy about was that I had to remove the auxillary (air con) fan from in front of the condensor. I figured I'd have to do it anyway, but I plan on having functioning air con eventually. If anyone knows of a direct replacement unit that is alot thinner (like 3" max), please let me know.

Look above, ya d*ckhead.

At the moment waiting on money to get an adjustable panhard rod, and some new brake hoses (front ones are cracked, and I'm not going to risk it) - considering braided (haven't checked prices yet).

New rear shocks should arrive this week.

Oh, didn't know you couldn't get photobucket. First picture is halfway through installing my intercooler, second picture is it installed, but without front bar (hektik spec), third picture is it installed with bumper. I've just emailed them to you.

Me too Adz. Patience, precious.

After the aforementioned rear shocks/panhard/brake hoses, I'll be getting a 3" catback exhaust, and possibly looking into some wheels (thinking something cheap, like VX SS or VT Internationals).

Also, my daily will be popping up soon, so I'll have to deviate some funds into that to get it on the road.

Thanks mate.

Some people aren't a fan of the Calais front; for the moment I'm undecided. I may go back to Berlina, but I may finish off the conversion. A Calais interior is on the way, so there not much left to convert it anyway (has full options now).

Rear lowered shocks arrived this morning, and I should be picking a rolling shell this Saturday to strip for parts. Namely 28 spline axles! So I'll be putting my LSD in on Sunday.

I thought you were my bride Adz? F*ck, you are trashed...

I picked up my rolling shell today - V8 Berlina. Has a disc to disc 28 spline LSD in it, full electrics with grey Berlina door trims, and (obviously) VLT/V8 front brakes/discs, and 1" master cylinder/dual diaphram brake booster.

So, tomorrow I'll stripping my diff down (again ), and replacing the centre with my VN SS LSD centre I've had sitting in the shed since forever, and fitting the 28 spline axles. Also replace the rear shocks with lowered ones.

All the other stuff from the shell I'll be selling to make a nice little profit on the side. If anyone needs anything OTHER than the axles, feel free to PM me.

Edit: Haha, it wasn't an LSD. 28 spline single pegger! Oh well. I bought the car for the axles, and saved heaps on that as it is. Got the rears shocks in, but had difficulties with the LSD - I've lost one of the bearing cups.....going to see if a diff shop can supply me with a new pair tomorrow.

Yay! LSD installed. Its all topped up with oil now (Castrol LSX90), and bearing the little "High Performance Differential" tag. Turns out you can buy bearing cups individually, and it only set me back $8.80. I had mega dramas putting the axles in however - the splines within the centre wouldn't stay lined up. Took a few more hours than I would have liked, but its all done now. Sits really nicely with the new shocks, and I'll be completely happy with it when I put the adjustable panhard rod in.

I'll post pics of how it sits when I take some more photos (too dark now ).

Ah crap.....I took some photos, but in my drunken state last night deleted them! Oh well. I'll do it tomorrow. Don't worry Trentus, there'll be plenty of action shots when it finally does get going.

In other news, my new daily driver should be arriving tomorrow! '96 TS Magna V6 manual, courtesy of my good friend Mitcham (SIroller).

Dude, that name will never catch on.....its too hard to type, like FreZe_dK's name! See? Still got it wrong!
