Ok its been awhile due for an up date dont realy know where to begin , alot of work has been done to the car to get it to where it is now ended up having a fair bit of rust and body work got repaired and completely cut out also having other things done like removed passenger door lock full brand new rubber and seals kit bailey channels and all, vs flat style fuel lid, had the standard grill and a genuine group a grill painted incase i feel like a change also, all the moulds ect getting refinished, new aerial, new front and rear lights, bonnet struts, guard bolts, door strikers badges ect tryed to pretty much fix or replace anything and everything i could think of, had to replace 2 of the doors on the left hand side aswell due to damage and rust, parcel shelf also been repaired so 100% road worthy now incase i need to ever go for it again. to much stuff to list its been gone for months so its hard to remember everything on the spot. All the work has and is being done by Dale from Ward Repairs & Custom Bodyworks, all thats left to do is drop my engine in and smooth and paint the bay then it should be where i want it

Yeah very true, I went through a recent respray with my VL and am having a hard time coming to terms with driving in the wet lol, I'll get there!

Good to enjoy your hard work and not just stare at it!
Loving the colour though, looks mad. Would love to see this thing at a cruise

was abit of a rush to get it ready towards the end few little things i still gotta do here and there, still alittle anoyed i couldnt get into vip cause thats what i was pushing for all year, only had one problem with the car at c4c and that was probably my fault temp sensor was unpluged somehow on the way home and the car overheated just out from cranbourne, found out the radiator cap wasnt on properly so fixed that then fixed the temp sensor wire yesterday and drove it for 3 hrs last night and seemed fine so im guessing that was it,

gotta find someone to get me club rego now hopefully thats easy cause 2 regos isnt cheap when i only really drive one car and after this major build it should be %100 roadworthy now

ANYWAY pickies lol

C4C 2014

To anyone interested in how I did my mirrors the product I used on the mirrors is a new product from autobarn called "meguires ultimate black" its $10 for a pack of 2 sponges and it already contains the formula in the sponge so you literally just wipe it on, the more coats the better it says but I just did 2 quick coats and it came up mint, couldnt find anything on the net about fixing the mirrors color so I just took a gamble and thought id be the first to try it lol

---------- Post added 09-12-14 at 22:12 ----------

Mirrors arent painted like everyone else seems to do as I dont like the look of gloss mirrors on a vk doesnt look right imo

Heres a before and after again
