304 problem

Hey guys Ive got a weird problem happening with my 304.

Some weeks ago i was on my way back from town on the motorway, the dash clusters speedo went nuts, went from 0 to 220 then stopped working all together. Also once almost home the car started to die if i took my foot off the pedal. Ive noticed i cant hear the normal pod sucking air sound either.

Been thinking it might be a throttle body sensor or maybe the map sensor.

Has anyone else had this problem before, any help would be great.

manifold leak, shot gasket? if you cant hear the sucking anymore, and you need the throttle open to keep the injectors flowing enough, then the air is getting in somewhere. Check the resistance on the TPS, or ODB the computer and see whats codes its faulting
