I was going to say! Looks balls with the rough old suspension in there! Good to see you're going all the way.

That diff looks so small.

Been meaning to finish this off but put it aside while the body gets back on its wheels. Understandable and I kno alot of people arnt going to agree with this look, but with this car being so heavily modified on the exterior and planning for it to be slammed with big rubber stickin out the guards, I thought why not lol!

Would you believe the curve of the scoop is an actual cutout of a bonnet of an EA ford lol I knew exactly the curve I wanted an ruined a perfectly good ford bonnet (lol) to do it!

Aiming for the weekend for it to be in primer

hey thanks man. yeh I love that style too, but its not quite what im goin for with the bonnet. think of the new ford bulge an how it kind,of adds a bit of an extra muscle look. I didnt want a front on open scoop as im goin for more a new age hardcore race style look rather than an old school thumper cause its guna be injected, slammed and have massive wheel offset. knowones really done anything like that yet, cause vls are so assosiated as straight line cars, but im trying hard to get away from that.

but jus basically an add on to make the front look different an hold the itbs.

well atm sortof in a bit of a crossroads... basically to finish this car im looking at probably the best part of another full year of work, probably a far bit of money. The finished product will be a nice car but im starting to think maybe this is something I should be doing later on in my life, as I really wana drift an build a car I can use and thrash...

Thoughts please guys.. Im still very unsure what I should do. This issue has only been made worse by f@#king slackass painters who wont paint it....

Jack I was going to run BBS, wanted to slam it an have fat poke out the guards but most people reckon it wouldnt suit a vl so probably minor offset ones..

I reckon get it painted then put it under wraps in the shed.. you and your dad have put so much effort into it over such a long period of time that it wouldn't be worth selling the shell for the small amount that rollers are worth

Then buy a drufta and come druftin, the VL ain't gonna cost you anything sitting there waiting for you to decide what to do with it

PS Strong offset makes ANY car look better

yeh thanks man. I think this is a wise decision. I cant seem to hold off the urge to want to hit the track. And its got a place I can store it out of the way too.
