That's the number on the strut tower. Look at the first post.

Next to the fuse box there will be three Id tags. 2 silver ones and one smaller one above them that should be the same colour of the car. That is your vin no.

Ps vicroads don't need or record that number. They use a number on the bottom of the silver tag on the right.

Ok so mine has come back with the non turbo version berlina...It has been registered in Victoria (mildura) several times and has had the turbo conversion on it for a while apparantley....Does this mean it WONT pass rego in NSW because of the turbo conversion? OR because it has been registered before with the conversion done will it or is there a possibility it will still pass rego?
PS...it has the Nissan Turbo tappet cover on it aswell as the turbo badges all over it...(If that helps lol)
.

Just bought a bt1
Done the vin check
It says
Your car is a Holden SL/Executive Commodore Sedan
From the factory it was equipped with the Turbocharged Nissan 3L RB30ET producing 150kw at the flywheel.
It was produced in 1988 at the Melbourne plant

Is it meant to say anything bout being a bt1?

no the VIN calculator doesn't go that deep

your car is an SL as BT1's were SL's (base model) effectively optioned up with the BT1 pack
