And to everyone that has a crappy switch, servicing them works, if you don't know how to do it send it to Jet, i'm sure he'll fix it..

Yeah look i also have a heap of parts for them, i also was doing this not long ago and devised a system for fixing fcuckt plastic switches that had worn and a way to make an optional drivers buttons hold, so u could just switch them and not have to hold it... all done thru ingenious... pm me jet and i'll let u in on it).... as for prices i was doing $90 change-over, and then $15-25 for dead ones depending on condition...

i don't think he can fix the windows going up and down faster, thats the window motor and car wiring (unless you take your car to him), he's just talking about the centre console switch.
To get your windows to go faster do a search, a couple of people have fixed this problem before. Biggest problem is usually power supply to the electric window motor.

Ok guys i spoke to a few ppl today about this, and i think a fair price would be somewhere in the area of about $60/70 change over or repair of your original unit.
I will also be doing the rear switches as well, for prob $30 for the pair or $20 each
Might even do a full cleaning/change over deal too on all of the switches
This also will include sunroof switches!!!!!!!

But at the moment i am not doing them i have to collect/buy a few old switches to start me off, so anyone with some old gear(thanks SIRGEO) leave a message and ill pm you

But at the moment i am in need of the car half of the plug, so if anyone has the plug and wires cut from a car and dont need em, ill be needing it as well

What would be the best way to do postage etc????? IDEAS?

Cheers JET

Had an idea today, anyone know if putting a small capacitor across the final teminals of each of the switches will extend the life of the switch?
I think it will stop arc'ing of the contacts
