wow stolen from leeming, i grew up there and moved away from leeming like 4 years ago. i always thought it was the safest area going. my calais use to sit out the front 24/7 and i never had a problem. i know a lot of people in leeming. i will let a few of them know and they can keep their eyes peeled. sorry about the loss mate.

holy sh!t how does something like this get stolen! shouldnt it be under a freakin lock an key with like fifty guard dogs around it.. i dont get it ay!!! im sorry but i just cannot jusfty spending that kind of cash without SERIOUSLY investing in a decent garage to keep it safe. Do you guys understand where im coming from??? Like that is not a car that sits on the kerb!! thats what a daily is for..... Seriously does my head in, there looks like 100k in that thing, what, a garage to buy would be like 10k at most??? GO FIGURE lol

but best of luck with finding it, im not having a go i just DO NOT get how people can blow a sh!tload an not garage it, then they wonder why it gets stolen....

your kidding yourself if you think a garage and alarm is going to protect your car mate, might make things a bit more difficult for the theiving scumbags but i know of some who had a car fitted with decent alarm/immobilisers, parked in a garage with 2 other cars in front of it stolen without anyone hearing a thing, and ive heard of cars much worse than that off a few people.

cant beleive this was never found with all the parts on it and paint surely someone has seen/heard something, shame looks mint!!

hmmm, I kno these people are very good at what they do, but how protected are we talking here... like full lock garage or one with just a dodgy gate on it. I guess in these situations theres only one way thats going to protect your car if its in a garage as well.... get a big F UCK off dog an put its bed in front of your front bar lol!

I hate these stolen stories,
Not sure if it helps as yet but on top of all the kill switches, alarms, guard dogs, snake on the front seat, posinos alcohol in the glove box, etc

I put an extra tune in my Stock ECU that I activate by removing a plug from the dash.
As soon as you try to drive, the rpm fuel cut kicks in and makes you headbut the windscreen, headrest, windscreen, headrest. quite funny when you give the keys to someone after leaving the pub.

I have a special lock out system with my microtech, nothing electrical works without it being de activated. Ever seen one of those bright yellow steel carpark bollards that can be locked and removed, yep, i got one, plus alarm, immobiliser, garage etc etc. All we can do is try!

i look at it this way. you can put the best security measures in your car to avoid theft, which yes may deter the "opportunity thief" or your "carpark thief" but if someone really wants your car they'll get it..

i think it was an old ford gto that got stolen from a warehouse over here in perth, they thieves moved porches and bentlys to get to it, put everything back and closed up. no one new untill the next morning and i dont think its ever been found, also a friend knows a guy who had 100k worth of motor bikes stolen from his garage, the bikies ( partly caught on tape) just cut through the garage door with a nine inch grinder.... and they have never been found... so if someone wants it, they'll get it.

aww and then there was the case over here recently when a mustang got stolen from its owner, the thugs broke in, forced him to sign transfer papers and legally obtained the car off him, it was found through a tracking device, but im not sure if the owner got it back or not..

True, There's always a way around it isn't there.. I guess it will stop the joy riding loosers at best.. but at the very least I'll know exactly where it's going.

lol, so you're telling me the cops followed the paper trail to the new owner who happened to know nothing about an assault. That's the most stupid thing I've heard, it's not the movies.

I agree you will never stop the thiefs,But we can make it harder for them.Remember this is our pride and joys we are talking about. How many of us spend shyte loads on a stereo system. And them spend bugger all on a alarm,I firmly believe on gps tracking and a geo fence conected to your cell and pc(for tracking or have a firm monitor for you.We had to for the insurance company.Well we put it in before they asked. It was wired in with the rebuild.

Cheers Marty
