I'm running kicker splits(2 way). Sounds pretty good.

There is a difference between splits and two-way speakers.

I have Alpine Type-S two way's in My dash. Very good quality speakers.

I also have type s in the dash, and they are pretty good. I'm sure if I had an amp running them they'd be great.

with those alpine speakers can you fit them 100% in the factory position, the ones i've got atm the magnet is slightly too big and makes my speaker covers stick up and look ****house

The alpine's have a small magnet and fit perfectly without fouling the cover.

JAYCAR ones are mad, get the kevlar ones
They have a big tweeter and are crystal clear, 40rms and they about $80
They fit in perfect and look stock

I just bought some hertz ones. Have trial fitted them and they are spot on. The pioneer ones I bought didn't fit due to the tweeter section being too high.

I ripped the cone out of the stock speaker and cut the magnet off. the remaining basket makes a good mount for some tweeters.
