for the rears you might need to shorten the diff if you wanna run anything with decent dish. or just go all out and tub it

I am also interested in this, are you using a standard length BW78 diff or something more custom?

My setup is bw diff shortened 70mm per side, converted back to drums to sit the wheels in more, mine are 15x8.5 3 3/8 bs with a 5i dish, tucks 255s easily!

Yer mate, housing has to be cut down and rewelded, custom axles to suit length etc, mines a bw 31spline axles, romac full spool, ta diff cover and 3.9 gears, cost just over 2k but I had the gears already, so watever gears are worth add that to the cost unless u stay 3.45s

One thing to consider wen the diff is shortened as much as mine without tubs u can't run STD Holden wheels no more! Wheels have to be custom for the rears!

Just over 2k, I had new gears already so didnt have to add that to the cost, so watever gears are worth add that to the price.

Pretty decent price by the sounds of the work involved, did they have to recut the splines on the shortened axles?
