cheers brad, yeah i have seen the build thread while back and always looks like it had the goods on it. But i noticed that is had scat rods in it and i think these may be a problem for the car as from what i see the power limit isnt that high on them. Also the car doesn't have anywhere near the power it claims to have but i am hopefully getting my id2000's and 1800hp pump in this weekend and off to the tuners... But now its delayed another week as i got to put new tyres on it now before tuning. Hows you and ned going anyways?

Yeah it should deffinately make the numbers with some decent boost and e85 down its throat. Ned and I are good man, he just got a ve ss ute so in trying to make him bomb it out haha

yeah got the injectors coming today so i will try and get it all setup asap then screw some power into it hopfully, not expecting the world just want at least a 9 out of it.
Ned has always wanted a VE SS ute, i thought he had one ages ago?

yeah its a stock with 6 throttle atm, i am speaking to ariel about a CPC plenum with single throttle. Will see how the stock goes on the dyno once i get it sorted and go from there.
will get some pics up when i start putting in the injectors and fuel pump.

yeah not wrong, im not really worried about the rods atm. I am going to run it how it is and not spend any more money on the drive line until i fix the body up as it ****s me atm how it looks. All that needs doing to the drive line is the diff and its finished.

yeah i have all the fuel system ready to go in now, I'll get some pics up of the parts before they go in and while i am also putting them in also
Full -10an telfon braided hose
-10an aeromotive regulator
-10an aeromotive fuel filter
-10an silver and blue teflon hose fittings
1800hp fuelab pump methanol/alcohol rated
bosch id2000 injectors
new denso plugs
injectors extensions
rail im unsure yet as i might use what i have now but depends if it will take the -10an fittings.

I havent had it out really since i got it i registered it last week so i have been taking it out with the family for a drive around to get it out before i start taking out the fuel system and get it retuned on e85. I Just really need to find a shell to put it all in and run some numbers in it.

Easy fix, race with bunky shell, run desired number with bunky shell, retire said shell and get it painted and cruise it as an engineered 9sec car?

yeah i have been thinking about it, i want to get the car tuned and see what power it makes first and get an idea on what it should run with power wise then go from there. I rang mcdonald bros and i might get the cage from them and put it in my self.

Looking real good mate. How is the outside of the car looking? Without sounding like an a$$hole, My only dislike would be where the braid is running from rocker cover to catch can, can't run the braid lower to clean it up a little? Have you sorted the brake line for tomorrow?

Should move the catch can to we're the fuse box usually sits, would look much much neater! Also that bay looks neat as, passenger side already smoothed. Just keep that shell and respray after racing..

Yeah i dont like the braided line either so i cleaned it up today and made in more tidy and fixed up some other lines, I will get some pics up of what it looks like now so you can see the difference. I got the line fixed this arvo but had problems bleeding the brakes and actually cracked the $hits and im bad when i crack it so i have to walk away before i break something on it so i left it in the shed, so im not coming tomorrow which is abit of a bummer. As for asking about the outside i dont mind telling it how it is and its not an a$$hole of a question, the body is not the greatest... I need to give it a full respray, new bumpers, rust cut out of from window, retrim interior. So as you can see its only the driveline done and the body needs alot of TLC. I can get up some pics for you guys so you can see what i am talking about.

the only thing about moving it is that is all drains back to the sump with -10an braided line and drains to the drivers side. So i would have to change it all but im not going to bother for the moment maybe later on. Im not sure if i am going to spray this shell as i am wanting a mini tubbed car and if i get that i will have to re-engineer the car anyways so i am looking at getting a shell and tubbing it over time and just driving this car as it is for the moment till the shell is complete so i dont loose interest in the car. But i may still cage this so i can race it and play around till my tubbed shell is complete.

Good looking engine bay. I love a tidy CA18T and it's not often you see them in a vl. What size is the turbo? Is it a T3 with polished housing?

Yeah Its just an illusion, it's a gt42 housing with t3 internals.... Also the second cam is for show I don't have it hooked up...
