Yep, just change them one by one.
AFG, it will be higher comp next time around 8.5, 8.6
the factory hi-comp is probablly way to high to make killer pumpfuel power
even with water injection, would like to try it though with someones setup,
no wusses though..25+psi minium

thats alright jet, and yeh the factory high comp is pretty high for pump fuel, but i dont think i will be using that at the track, well for now ill just use bp ultimate with a few bottles of octane booster maybe lol.

but in a month or so, ill be changing to gtr injectors a microtech ecu, so i can at least tune it properly for whatever type of fuel i will use.

So is it ok to use the N/A Cam? I assumed it wouldn't run too well once on boost but if you guys are talking about unopened engine then I won't bother replacing the cam in mine yet, I still have to get an electrical problem sorted before I can even start it yet.

mine runs fine with NA cam,

it's done a 12.9 and i havn't even held it flat the whole way down (to scared keep thinking it's goin to pop :P) but will do it this next friday

i suppose your not getting the best performance out of it, but it still runs well! mine rev's and pulls all the way to 6k rpm, doesn't nose over, I do have my other head there, with crow cam and double valve springs, but as this one is running find at the moment i have no reason to change, it spins the wheels so easily, any thing around the 80km/h mark spin all the way to 120, so i'm happy

i just purchased a 6 port nos kit 125hp wet nos system, not sure how it's going to last :P

so long as she doesnt ping lars.. it should be good for some decent power.

Thats good news about the n.a cam, never considered it actually.. less stuffing around tho, and lars sounds like ur making over 200rwkw with it.

Thats great to hear, looks like I will be back on the road sooner than I think, no need to save up for a cam upgrade now. what are you driving these days Morgz? would be good to catch up again.

it made 150rwkw on 10psi,

but that was with a small spring, that let the boost build with the rev's so at the limit it had 10psi

it's now running 12psi constant, and is 10 time better!
only pings if i try to roll on in third at 40 -50 km/h which is fare i suppose, plus the weather we have up here

I have been flogging the crap out of in now for 2 months, that means it's on the limitor 1st and 2nd every time i drive it a u can imagine!

like i said see how i go with it next friday, trying to get some street slicks as i managed the 12.9 with some clapped out 15 inch street tyres

well that was my thinking, my car would be of the road for ever waiting to build another motor, we looked at the engine in the shed, thought what the hell, got a gasket kit, stripped down the other engine and changed everything over, it started 2nd kick, and like i said considering it hasn't run for over 4 years, and we had to use a 1.5 metre bracker bar to unsieze the engine, it just goes to show how good a motor they are!

Seat of the pants mate. The only control i have of the methanol is pressure (controled by a rising rate reg), when to open the injectors (by a pressure switch) and the size of the injectors.
I've been meaning to put a fuel only ecu on the methanol injectors but i haven't got around to it.

It's a really simple system and it cost me **** all and best of all it works really well. The motor has been in the car for 12 months making that power and it hasnt missed a beat! It is still smooth to drive and it comes on really hard when the methanol kicks in!
