oxygen content has alot to do with how much the fuel makes,
I think you will find Sunoco nos supreme makes more power then c16
being proven so manytimes back to back, here and the u.s .

It isn't an oxygenated fuel.

Apart from the methanol powered cars, majority of the quickest petrol cars in Australia and in the U.S run VP fuel. This is not only because it is great quality, but racers have the choice of so many fuels to choose from. And as Mark Hayes was saying, in non ANDRA santioned events where any fuel can be used, alot of cars especially sport compact vehicles run the VP import, which has a way higher octane than c16, that way they can run alot more boost safely. Also, alot of guys go to VP direct and get a special blend made.

And i quickly asked him if he would use sunoco in his torana, using the whole 600hp shot and all....let me just say the look he gave me said it all

The Sunoco company primarily makes fuel for everyday cars (like BP, Caltex etc) and now has branched into motorsport, VP Racing Fuel company on the other hand was formed for the racers/racecars and continues solely to do so.

http://www.vpracingfuels.com/vp_08_story.html

And while on the topic of C16, VP racing have brought out a new fuel called Q16 which is oxygenated and it is going to be a replacement to the current C16. Everyone in the U.S are making nice hp numbers. One guy did back to back tests between C16 and Q16 and on C16 made 1499hp with 20psi, drained the tank, put Q16 in and tuned to suit and on the same boost level made 1600hp. On the same boost pressure it made 101hp more, not bad aye

that run with craigs car was running 32psi and it can run 50psi and it was still being tuned on the dyno as it only had a couple of hours before it left of tuning and they only ran it to 1400hp so it should make over 2000hp with more tuning and more boost easy
