nah all good i beleave you just some one else said i had to redrill etc.

so if i use the following i should be all good and fit without to many dramas

vn kframe
vr vs hsv headers
vl auto power steer rack
vn front half tail shaft with vl rear

got vp 5l in vl im doing at the moment. it got hsv headers on it and no probs with fitment.

You dont have to swap steering racks but if youve got a decent set of shoulders get a manual rack and never worry about anymore leaks.
If you lighten the flywheel 4kg, delete the clutch fan and power steer you should have a responsive V8.

motor and 5spd now in.

having a couple dramas with the cross member lining up.do i re drill the cross member or just keep having a crack and try get the cross member in

i'm having troubles atm with fitting the crossmember too, i got a conversion kit from v6 conversions. I'm using a vt 5l and a 5 speed getrag box from a vt. would love to hear about anyone who has used the same

yeah if you use a t5 you will need to re drill the holes on the crossmember to suit.

ive already got a vn rack so vb-vk rack wont work.i found a vl manual rack but need the intermediate shaft part to suit

They are a top box by the sounds of it but setting up a hydraulic clutch would be a hassle, I would like to know of a conversion too.

ive found a manual steer rack.

now im wondering if extractors from a vn-vp are going to fit or should i just stick with holden headers?

ive got vp headers on mine fitted sweet but i have used the vn rack. i think blokes on hear have said that the vp headers wont work if you use the vl rack not sure have a read back bud.

you cant use aftermarket extractors eg VN/VS pacemakers, but factory extractors may be used in some setups

Going to do this conversion using a T5. What have you guys found with the manual pedal box, can a vn-vs one fit or do you have to use a vb-bk one?
