the vl 6cyl dash will only work accuratly with a 6cyl engine temp sensor, if you put a v8 (vl-vs) temp sensor and connect it to the vl dash it will never be right.
just use a aftermarket temp guage. thats what i did to mine and have had no problems.

Im looking to do this conversion a bit later on when im closer to a full licence. How much money have people gotten away for doing the conversion... less a donor car? Diff, brakes, steering racks and components, tail shafts, WIRING, engineering certificates etc?

I think the neck is longer and needs to be shortened.

If it's anything like the VH (and i'm pretty sure it is) the tank will fit.

I've installed a long range tank in my SLE from a VN Aero. This is a tank where the neck is not permanently connected to the tank.
The tank fits perfectly as long as you have the matching straps. The neck needs to be cut down a bout 1.5-2 inches.

with the oil pressure sender, you need to run both. get a t-piece from autobarn, because they both read different things

hey guys can anyone lead me in the right direction for a wiring diagram i know there is one here on the forums i cant find it.

i spoke to a auto electrictian and hes said to wire it up he was charge in the thousands + parts, i was thinking it would cost 500-800tops + any little extras he needed. What do you think is a fair price for the job?

Im using a vt donor car so got just about everything.
