Was keen to bring the GTS....but it doesn't like rain water

Even if there's no cruise to the beach, we could always drive round south auckland in our fully sick VL commy's

I'm still keen but the VL failed its WOF so will have to bring my VP instead, is that kosher?

can anyone recommend a rust repair shop? It got the usual stuff round the front windscreen, I've been to see Dr Rust in Glenfield who said about $450.

$450 isnt bad mate, but then you'll need new screen if that one doesnt come out nice- budget around $350 for screen unless you are insured?
Get him to give you a written quote so it wont blow out.
p.s- im sure the boys wont mind you taking the VP along.

I've noticed over recent years how everyone is really just hanging in there to keep this forum going in NZ, maybe that everyone's getting a bit older and have other things pressing to do ie family etc not sure, but yeah used to be quite fun on this site, still is but not the same that's for sure.

Your bang on the money Craig.
It has just burnt out really, people move on etc.
But the thing that pisses me off is guys say yip yip keen as to meet up- or whens the next cruise. ive organised them in the past and hardly anyone shows. So ya kinda get feed up and dont bother anymore.
Think the best one we had (turn out anyway) was one i organised few years back, where we got 18 VL's and few other cars in between. Now that was awesome- really struggle for that these days.
Fair enough alot of the time people are working on their cars and cant come along, i get that.
my 2 cents anyway. end rant.
