fuel problem??

ey
just got the car on the road and its gota a fuel problem i think.. at take off, low revs it is super super slow.. but then wen boost comes on, and at like 2200 revs the car begins to pik up.. but then wen it hits 3500rpm is like surges.. and doesnt wana go any higher. if i play wit the throttle it will push through it but there is somehting rong and wana get it fixed. it has a small leak in the fuel filter but can anyone give me ideas wat could be wrong wit it?? it has to be fuel realated i am thinking..

1st do an ECU error code check and see what error codes come up and that will take some guess work out, sounds like AFM but do the error codes 1st.

yeh i have changed the airflow meter over.. yeh ill give the ecu test a go and see how i go.. thanks for ur help..

injectors? what ecu are you running? pump? what fuel?

looms on these cars are getting old and connectors subject to corrosion,
the analog signals like AFM, CTS, O2 need special attention to ensure there
is no non-linearity introduced by the aging cables and connectors...

fuel filter... and/or intake fuel pump strainer is knackered and has clogged up the intake pump a little...
