i am doing a VP SS at the moment.
Running a Impco 425 and Impco convertor with the latest lean bias processor.
this set up is good for 385HP,with no modifications. Modify it a bit and its good for 450HP. But you need someone who knows about Impco performance to achieve this.
The new lean bias processor is awesome too, as it injects gas into the mixer on acceleration, eleminating the chance of lean backfire that occured when running the standard type processor.
I think the Impco stuff is beeter than the GRA, as it is more easily tuned and set up, stays in tune longer and the mixture control and idle are FAR, FAR better and quicker to respond and more reliable.
The GRA system runs the idle speed motor remotely and this affects its operation dramatically. The Impcoi system leaves the idle speed motor where it is. And nearly all the GRA stuff I have seen on 5L never opens the throttle 100%, but thats more the fitters fault.
I'll take some pics tomorrow when its finished and post them if you like.

Yeh i've spoken to a couple gas fitters and they recommended the impco 425. Neither of them said any thing about the impco converter with the new processor though. Pics would be great. Thanks for your help!

the GRA works well on the injected 5 litres.. i have a few mates who converted to it on their 304's and none can complain.. power seems the same.. but ill ask how the economy is.. the only differnce i find is it hasnt got the same kick..

no mean to hijack.. but are their gas research twin throttle bodie setups available for the inj 5litre? i know the other sort, thats what were running..
.
