Hey guys
I'm socrates

I own a 1980 Nissan Skyline Hardtop with RB30ET going in soon with RB25DET gearbox.
I'm here to learn more about my engine and what the best performance modifications are for it.

I'm sure I have much to learn, coming from a carburettor background with my other car a 1978 skyline.

hey everyone just letting u no i new to the vl world as i am a ford fan sorry lol.
my gf bought me a mates vl wagon i had my eye on. its got a blown head but i start it up to move it round yard wanna rebuild motor considering a 25/30 or 26/30 combo if anyone can help me make up my mind put me on to sumone i can talk to would be very much apreciated.

Names Richard im 17 and just picked up a VL Berlina.
Still on my L's but in this time I have owned an SR20 S13 and a Mitsubishi Triton Minitruck.
Always wanted a VL ever since I was a young kid so I finally got one.

Hi guys been along time but I decided to buy a vl again currently still not finished I'll be doing a full write up once it's done I was a member back a few years ago back in 06 to 08 or something like that as I do no a few of u good to see u all are still building these beautiful cars I'll be doing a write up on my vl soon

Hi all I'm back as a few of u no me already new vl is in the build been a long time since I have had the chance to get back on here unfortunately it's not a turbo but packs plenty of power keep watching as when it's finished I will be debuting it on a cruise if they still happen

Hullo there,
I am also in Midland from time to time when visiting family in Australia though resident mostly in NY. Right now on the hunt for electrical & diagnostic devices for the RB 3L nissan motor while I have spare time here to shoe-horn it into a Mercedes 280SL Roadster back in the US & with help of my Father who is in that business who taught me all I know of car mechanics & electricals before they all get replaced with Tesla type motors.
Have found a circuit for a great crank angle tester for many jap motors to watch & count/analyse the pulses but it is missing a part which I think is a microprocessor or logic array or some such from someone on this forum who has made electrical safety displays for mining companies and did it too for a very old VK series or Vl at first. The RB is a nice cheap motor yet tough motor & easy for me to work on as delicate hands. Like grinding down old nascar titanium valves to fit.
Still searching for other things too in Brisbane checking out boats tomorrow for my Mother, hope midland can pick up a bit lol by the time I fly back ;o
