Yep is very suss... Basically with out the tags, and them not being able to tell ya what it was, it's not an original walky anymore.

Still at $25k it's not a bad price with that sort of gear in it... even if it's classed as a replica. Only problem is it won't go up in value like the real ones will

i wouldnt pay 25k for it. u can get cars such as ttjet for 25k. no tag equals no collector

If it was stolen and stripped. The thief who stole it should bid as im sure they would have the bits to put it back to original. This has happened before many times.

Another sad fact is who ever stole the original parts of it probably has stuck them on another vl and sold it of as original.So someone out there may think they have a original but it really isnt. I have heard stories of people destroying there own car then stealing another and putting there tags on it. Lots of ways it can be done.Have to be very carefull when buying one.

u are mistaken there some walkys where sold with calais pop ups this was done by the dealers not hsv

A few walkys came from dealers with calais fronts and quite a few have had it fitted later on.

I think it took TTJET well over 12 months to sell at 25k, but thats old news....

InRed - These items don't really mean much

Its not hard to damage a front lip and not fit a new one. Mine doesn't have the original gear knob or a radiator shroud extension. But then again soon it won't have the radiator shroud at all and I'll just get a new Momo gear knob that looks the same. But the others are very suss indeed.
