hi my names Leigh and i just bought a VL CALAIS SEDAN N/A

Calais Sedan, 314 Pack - Includes LFI, ML4 - 8VX

15I Grey - Interior Trim

2F010 Dark Red Metallic Paint - Exterior - Venetian Red 1987

Built: SEP 87

LFI Engine - L6, 3.0 Litre EFI

ML4 Automatic Transmission - 4 Speed with Clutch Converter

GM3 Axle Ratio - Rear 3.45:1 - 3.0 Litre Engine

Also has 179thousand Km's on the clock

1 1/4 Etractors - Sports Cat (straight through) - 2 1/2 Exaust

on ceptors for the minute will prob be putting 19" wheels and lowering it verry soon

^ She is clean for a 1987 Model

^ Open wide (now all it needs is a blowjob / Turbo lol)

^ Dads VL Calais wagon & my VL Calais Sedan

Last of all my toy till she broke

Sooo nice and tiddyy!!! looks like a clean examlpe of a great N/a Calais....you should of put it in Non turbo discussion....

thats tufff as, ur new calais is much better then that old bombodore. Grats on a tuff calais, jsut needs white ventiains and you are done. Hows she run?

tiz ok i'll let u off this one time. i will be at thornleigh with bell's on might bring a mate with an immac GSR Lancer, mate she runs beutifull i just drove her from brisbane to sydney on thursday. So i'am in the process of installing a sound system into her and will go from there.

*posted else where on site* i have a mini problem i bought shortened strut's for my VS EXEC commodore about 2 months ago now the car was written off before i had a chance to fit the struts so i was wondering if thay wold fit the front of my new VL Calais ??? anyone have thoughts on this? will they fit on the VL??
The struts are Monro GT any help would be fantastic.

rang pedders today to get a quote for suspention they have a kit :- springs shocks ect fitted for $1185 have ur say is it worth it or not ??
also Syd Guard Rolling quoted $120 to lip all the guards good or not ???

i love the photos with it on the ceptors reminds me of how mine used to look are they just standed front springs in the 1st photo

i like that chop of the ssv's they lookd nice.. and its about time someone got some s2 ve hsv rims maybe take a breath and re drill the gts 3spoke style ones could look good.. btw very nice car indeed nice and straight and clean guards line up and all great find hang on to it and take care of it good luck
