So i got this ****heap home a few weeks ago.

Filled it with fluids, got new battery, powered up ecu.

Switched on pumps..no fuel..after pulling fuses worked out intank pump not picking up..
also no power to canbus so no lcd dash.

Not happy with accelerator cable, needs extending 20mm

Power steering pump reservoir leaked out of a pinhole..just great ...push on fittings that rubber hose wont come of and cut it and it will be to short and to replace it, its radiator out etc as its crimped.

Emptied tank, then we had a heatwave of over 35 degrees for a week, so it sat in shed stinking it out.
then went on holiday for a week.

Got back last night, went straight out into shed, fixed canbus wiring(its didnt come with a wiring diagram so was missing a wire once i asked someone that knew.
Fixed fuel pump, was one bolt hole out, so primed fuel lines.
removed power steer reservoir, getting welded atm,found a pinhole in weld but will have to re-powdercoat it black now..
and geting accerelator cable mount lengthened.

After i get that all back hopefully by next weekend, can start car and go get it tuned.

still got heaps of little jobs to keep me busy atm

Cant get car out of shed as my roller door broke, need to get new rollerdoor

That and i just got my grandpas car as he just died, Is a old Mk.4 sunbeam Alpine. I thought, cool will be fun to drive around

Now this ****er doesnt run either , and its a ****ing deathtrap , everythings ****ed on it, cant believe he was 91 and driving it still ..and it is in my driveway, infront of my broken roller door, so till that runs,as i live on a hill.. and i get roller door fixed..cant get vl out..lol

first world problems..lmao

Think im going to bite the bullet and send this frickin Alpine of to someone to **** arse around with, so its out of my driveway and at least runs so i can shift it around, ive played around with the ****ing thing, but its turning out to be another project that i dont need/wasnt expecting to have.

My wife tells me im living the male dream with 5 cars, but im not sleeping because of it atm, its just pissing me off..lol
