Talking vk hdt calais director

hello all.

what are peoples thoughts on the calais directors?

peoples thoughts on what something like this is worth or what it will be worth in years to come?
im not planning on driving it much maybe a couple times a year on events.

ill post a link to car bellow.

looks like a basic calais director so no leather no roof no scheels and auto from factory.

These cars are a classic, pity the original wheel and radio are gone but you can track some down if you wanna pay.
16 inch Aero's are sought after and there is no mistaking the sound of a carby Brock motor if the numbers match, cheaper than an SS with the same donk plus the luxuries.

The problem with this director is it is a revisit car,Meaning it was Brocked and not when it was born,The build numbers mean in was built in Mid to late 87 when they were building VL's. And that was not the GP As they were long completed. This was built when they were building the sport and VL director models. But for the right price you are still buying a Brock. Also the general condition of the car as well.

Cheers Marty

before brock died they weren't worth crazy money, i was offered a mint one in around 2005 witha 6.5k engine, for 10k

see them on ebay sometimes from 10k-30k+

considering the gumtree ad has no price, id say the owner probably wants heaps.
