Thanks man i think on a mint day with some better track conditions it might of gone 11s.Needed to get some more heat into the tyres. The next thing im looking into at the moment is changing from the nissan converter that it running in the turbo 350 trans and running the turbo 350 converter , that should stop the slipage and should be a completely different car after that

its a 3inch pipe that was added onto it and yeah was done by the steel surgeon in manukau.dont forget about welding a thicker plate underneath so fittings can be tapped into for vacuum lines etc

yeah was a prety frustrating day think it was 3pm just about to head out for the seconed run for qualifying and they decided to cancel it and run on the sunday i didnt bother going on sunday though.Ran a slow 13.1 but i was expecting that the converter its running at the moment has stopped the slipage but is a standard stall so makes it lagy.Planing to make a few changes over winter , gana sort a transbrake and manual valve body and upgrade the ignition system . should hopefully be going much faster for next seasons drags.

Todays effort . New msd 6al digital and blaster ss coil also new msd leads.
will be getting the 2 step in a couple of weeks once it arrives.had it running earlier but has a misfire so will need to sort that and just finish off mounting the leads where they run over the cam cover , will also be running some different sparkplugs in it too

Bit of an update sorry no pics at the moment for some reason it wont let me upload any. Anyway new 6 boost manifold arrived today , ive ripped the old one off and began trial fitting it theres a few changes to be made before its up and running again. Ive got the msd 2 step wired in but am having a few issues with it at this stage , havent been able to work it out yet. Ive ordered the manual valvebody/transbrake from the usa , so the trans will be getting pulled out soon to have all that fitted.I m also looking at changing the rear housing on the turbo to the 1.06 as it has no extra lag on an auto and should help with a little more power.Hopefully will be all tunned and ready for the drags in summer.

The new ignition setup was causing it to burn more of the fuel that entered the cylinders causing it to run lean , i had the guys at C and M Performance have a look at it he plugged in the laptop and put more fuel into it so it was safe to drive around untill i get it retunned on the dyno after ive finished making a few changes.
The msd 2 step limiter is for some reason not working ive had it bench tested and checked everything , its possible that it a compatiblity issue with the vehicle
