Yes it was. As well as a VLCT and a VLCT Wagon.

I ended up with all that standard turbo gear off that car when chris replaced it all....I got the cross over pipe...injectors...ecu...turbo..intake..and alot of other bits

.... was going to turbo my vacationer...then got my hands on the executive turbo that I had....so sold them on to someone from down south

Lol. Yea it ran standard boost with a boost tap to 10psi. Didn't have it long enough to put a cooler on it. It was for sale for $15k when I looked at it back years ago. I ended up paying $7.5k for it. Traded it and $8k for Tony Hines Minitruck. Bagged it and sold it to a guy down south for $26k. Good old days. Lol.

Nice going guys.

Strange that you'd end up with a couple of the very earliest Melbourne built turbo's. 101247M and 102726M are the earliest I've come across.

For a car yes,I know of a certain white wagon(turbo) being here in the late 80's.And it is still traveling on VL gts rims.

At the very bottom of the NZ Forum, months ago Craig posted some old photo's of car's he had owned...One of them was a Genuine White VLCT.

I updated the carjam page last night and it says that the car has got an exemption licence which means its most likely still around but like you say probably not being used

Yeah the guy said he was going to restore it slowly, it was my daily for a long time, and got a bit ruff around the edges, if I had the room at the time I would have just left it in the shed myself and slowly got NOS parts for it, easier than finding NOS for my Vs gts
