diff rebuild

Hey guys, i am most likely getting my diff rebuilt very soon. 2 weeks at the most hopefully ...
and im just wondering what sort of prices u guys wld expect to pay
i have 4:11 gears in mine, and if they r ***ed im thinken of droppen back to 3:9s
i have a manual vlt ... should i just keep using the 4:11s?
and i have been quoted around 1k, if the gears and everything needs to be replaced, new lsd springs, packed, all that !

for new 4.11, new mini spool, new bearings (total rebuild) i was quoted $750 ... i payed $950 and got it disk to disk
