Spools quicker basically and makes the power easy as there is plenty of boost left in the turbo so why use anything bigger

If you do the correct things to the exhaust housing they work very well

Also its a plain bearing core not ball bearing

My setup was/is-

GT35/40 (0.82)
Precision cast pistons 7.5:1 comp stock rods
JD plenum-N/A runners
Stock head/valves/springs with Luke VL cam (tighe cam)
Stock zorst manifold with 48mm T/S gate
On 20psi made 379rwhp through a JAtco 4 speed with modified stock Jatco stall (2800) and stock VLT LSD 3.45 diff gears.
Never got to race it because a. no track to race it on and b. it cracked 2 pistons for various reasons.....motor getting rebuilt at the moment and getting tube manifold with 4" dump etc...

wow it really seems like 35/40's don't "wake up" and hit their efficency range until around 25psi... is this true or are dyno readouts simply the culprit in this case to make it look that way?

ARI AT LEAST YOUR DYNO FIGURES ARE BELEIVABLE. I MIGHT TURF THE C16 AND GET SOME PULP AND NULON OCTANE BOOSTER AND SEE IF I CAN MAKE SEVEN HUNDRED ODD.

it's not fly wheel horse power fwhp it's front well horse power

No, dyno figures are just a number. I don't really care. I already tuned the car on the road and just stuck it on the QLD Supra club dyno day and came second, loosing to a GT42 equipped car. I honestly don't give a **** about the dyno numbers. I was just there to see how it would compare. The run was done with the converter locked, so there is probably 10-20kw already.

My poor ET is due to a 2.1 second 60 foot time. I am probably loosing a few MPH becuase I am shifting into top gear at 120mph, which severely kills acceleration. I think it has 130mph in it with a few tweaks.

I would think I have more around 310rwkw.

good call there, also good that you know and can accept it, dynos are not accurate at the best of times...

made 225rwkw at 15psi

.82 rear
6boost exhaust
cpc inlet
makes 15psi at 3500 and when the stall looks have 180 something kw at 3500 rpm

i also have 1.5 head gasket, which has dropped the compression somewhat
this was also through a dodge auto that wasn't coping to well
will have my auto back soon so will be able to give u a 1/4 time in a month or so
