How ignorant are you? How would you know he/ she has not read the thread lately based on the fact they haven't logged in?

The person in question allegedly owes people money, and if the claims are true, do you simply expect him/her to just LOG ON to CT and read these threads and leave behind an electronic record journal (log in/ out etc)?

You DO NOT need to log in to read posts on CT and maybe he/ she has fellow scouts on here feeding them information. Maybe even a multiple username?

I suggest that Admin make the forum open and viewable only once you log in, that way people have to log in to read and it will leave behind an e-journal.

Is there an exact figure as too how much money has been handed over to this person?

Wouldnt worry about the crappy fuse rail anyway, i just started from scratch and cost me under 100 bucks to do this so far. Not finished yet, just gotta do the links and tidy up the relays..

WTF........Just received this email

All those interested in the Series 2 & Series 3 fuserail, hullo

Thanks for your enquiries. Have Bcc all, if any other email addresses disclosed by accident please advise asap.

Funding is in progress to start another batch, expected within a couple of weeks, some earlier orders which were pre-paid either need to be refunded or completed first, am recovering from major personal issues, death in family, chronic depression, equipment theft & manipulated white collar theft by made-up invoices for un-necessary work claims by an accountant, loss of my house & potentially all personal effects.

Will be in touch as things progress. Will be updating the web site soon with structural changes and more info on the Series 3, in general I can say it has easy means to be re-configurable so can not only go between different models quite easily if you have access to a soldering iron but, can also form the basis of a general purpose fuse/bussing system even for vehicles that go back to the 1920's. One such sale into USA showed, the guy had one 50Amp fuse, hid the fuserail in a space under the bonnet, much safer and doesn't affect the classic appearance one bit :-)

I'm keen to make this work & despite a very troubling amount of disgusting feedback and ugly unsettling claims from all sorts of strange people, including attempted theft by 3 people who abused me trying to get fake refunds. I don't know if its idiot ignorance, jealousy, bullying for the sake of an expression of power or some way to hold me up whilst competition gets up to speed - none yet though. I seem to be the only one, at least in Australia, who has designed anything like this & bring it to some sort of commercial production. It is my focus and along with my two son's and their friend offering capital we can have not just this but a couple of companion products on the market fairly soon & across a whole range of models, not just the classic V series we all have come to admire, cheers for now,

Kind Regards

Mike

ps: My ISP, IInet had some issues with domain redirection, let me know asap if the web site has any sort of problem, thanks

Well I really hope that's truly the case about refunds and models for those that are already waiting.

Taken with a grain of salt however as you would think that you would at very least contact everyone in a sign of goodwill, to let them know of circumstances.

Wait and see I guess.

I have been following this also for a while now.

I have a passion for seeing that businesses end up providing great customer service ( I study and work within this field).

At the end of the day, a very small amount of time by sending some courtesy emails and website/facebook/ social media updates into this situation is An important thing to do (No matter what happened, this is life and things do happen).

Unfortunately, this has scarred this business and a lot of trust will be lost in future sales.

No email for me either. To be honest I have up on the $100 a long time ago but would be great to see an actual resolution.

Strange because when I had consumer affairs approach him less than a month ago about getting a refund he told the officer that he couldn't afford to pay me back because his house was repossessed or something similar...

I've been spending time on and off getting my affairs in order to take him to court.

I am in no way trying to damage the reputation of this business.

New customers would have to tread carefully......................
I would not buy any product (no matter how good it is-----------due to bad previous
customer service--------------ie. loss of persons funds and no contact.

Hopefully previous customers do get their product.

Food for thought, what would happen if this businesses family didnt help him out.
Do you think anyone would have got an email or contact?

regards,
David

David I seriously doubt anyone will send the muppet a cent before he at least starts to come good on the initial orders (the thousands of dollars he has received)

Seems to me he's just doing the typical scammer bull**** though, every so often dangle it back in front of those he's wronged so that there isn't a huge revolt, providing false hope. And every time the topic of refunds comes up he seems to go on about these apparent scammers who pretended he owed them money and demanded money back. Like that has ****ing anything to do with me or the rest who paid, as I have provided him with my receipt email and proof of purchase. making out I what... might be a scammer myself? Knowing damn well I'm not, that has NOTHING to do with the outstanding debt.

No doubt he's reading this, and doing whatever he does when he reads this, but if you are you scammer it wouldn't even be good enough if you did come through on past orders, it's been what? 2 yearsish? that's bull****.

Was just checking out this thread, and thought I'd have a look at his website again, saw a link there for a sales enquiry email, so I sent this from my work email with a fake name at 12.55pm..

Response from 'Mike' at 1:08 PM

Hi,
Thanks for enquiry, preparing another batch, be about 10days or so, sometimes sell through ebay, depends on the whims on a business partner at the moment, will be in touch, regards Mike

That's 13 mins for a response to a potential sales enquiry.

Still waiting for responses from my other emails over the past 2 years regarding refunds/delivery of goods...

cunt

*edit*

Reply by me..

Hi Mike.

Wow – 13 minute response time! Amazing.

How come you aren’t able to respond at all to any of my emails requesting info on the fuserail I ordered and paid for on the 10/02/2012, (see attached receipt for transfer, and copied email below) and yet a new sales enquiry involving a potential sale to a new customer results in such fantastic customer service?

So what’s the go? Are you going to be fulfilling these 25 month old orders with these ‘new batch’, or are you just going to abandon all of the CT members who trusted you and paid upfront for goods, and then carry on business as usual?

Explanation please.

Anthony (Not actually Tom Manson)
