not a major update but this is where im at.. i had a bad few weeks started off by hitting a very big pot hole on my way to work causing my left front and rear tyres to pop instainly then i had to get 2 brand new tyres AGAIN and when i got them back on they damaged the same two rims i just had repaired before i hit the pot hole in the first place then they said they only damaged the one and refuse to pay for the other and ontop of that my steering is now playing up again guessing it got damaged when i hit the pot hole. my brother also blew a tyre the same day on the same hole just b4 me then 2 more yesterday on it again after it was suposably filled in. then i found out my boot is slightly leaking and the top of my rear windows rust i had repaired has come back and in now leaking in the car but isnt that bad so hopfully just after c4c i should beable the get a full respray. also just got some new lowered springs and shocks all round and nolathane adjustable strut tops today so will be putting them in soon

Ok so i bought a new daily the other day so i can get some proper work done on the vk as i wont be legally allowed to drive it when i do it, im dropping a v8 in it as that was always my plan but haven't fully decided on what engine im going to use just yet but from what i read on the forums everyday on other peoples conversions im leaning more towards a 304 as it seems to be cheaper and easier, taking into consideration that i need to pay for my respray and my seats i have here ready for re-trim already. will start gathering parts for it this year and prob do the conversion just after easternats next year so i can take it on some more bigger meets/cruises till im no longer allowed to drive it, my biggest concern is my digital dash though as i absolutely refuse to loose this as i still what a semi stock look to my interior, anyway here are some pics i took yesterday after a wash

and one next to my new daily

bit of an update got a new exhaust put on and changed all the suspention to new stuff and superlows all round also found out i need my power steering reconditioned/rebuilt which sucks cause i only had that done 2 weeks b4 the car was stolen but anyway dont have pics just yet cause it was only done on tuesday will get some soon.. its seems to be the same hight at the back no idea why as it was all std springs b4 and the front is now just above the tyre so its not hitting the gaurd, the guy that put them in for me said they will prob settle and go down abit more anyone know how long this will take or if it does even happen how much of a drop am i going to expect?

Well its been awhile and I've done a lot to the vk to get it back to where it was after it was stolen Easter last year only thing left is to replace the water pump, a lot of which are small things like interior pieces various motor parts etc. put some major things I've done would be fix the wiring issues ( s**t job when wires start smoking you've done something wrong lol ) brand new electric window motors in all four doors replaced all power steering components and a brand new rack and finally fixed my LOUD starter motor/drive plate issue after ripping through 5 brand new starters I've brought over the past year we found that the new aftermarket drive plate was 2mm to wide and 2mm to big and was missing the locator? piece? that holds it in place to stop the drive plate from moving freely, anyway enough typing for now ill post up more at a later date...

but here's some pics from the past all most a year..

with my old vk (now my dads)

with my bros 5l statesman

on a cruise somewhere in vic lol
