How far off the ground is a genuine Walinshaw?

I was wondering if anyone knew, or could measure for me, the height off the ground the front spoiler is (with the lower lip fitted)?

Thanks.

Exactly?

120mm. Give or take a couple, here and there.

Too low to get over the skid rails on the sides of the pit at the testing station. Had to run her along some boards to raise her up.

Yep Mine has the lip on and is 110mm ...

39mm!!!! on the other hand ... bloodyhell!!!! Is that on low springs or what?

I dunno how you drive it with 4 cms of clearance ... you wouldnt be able to clear a cain toad up here in QLD

BTW: I use re-enforced 10mm steel ramps to get mine in the driveway hehehe was a small price ($260) to get easy access to a now perfectly flat driveway

Well if suspension hasn't changed, then it will probably be lower, as it sags over time. If modified, then it will be lower.

Not many walkys going round that would be 85mm I don't think...

well concidering that 100mm is legal and the walkys were all made to adr and compliance that would mean that they would have to be atleast 100mm :. 120mm sounds about right. 38mm man roads between surfaces can vary upto 20mm ther for you would only have 18mm of clearance without suspension travel. bugger that

I should have measured the height of one of them yesterday as i was out cruising with 5 of them. One car's front lip actually touched the ground under hard braking. All cars looked identical in height.

Quite sure they were delivered without the lip fitted, and the dealer/buyer could do so at their own discretion.

Some were delieved without the lip, but they were towards the end. The majority of them came with the lip on.
