Na it's good stuff. It should hold well if the surface area is properly cleaned.

Yea I have them on my Berlina, were already on when I bought the car but had to re-attach the fronts as they were falling off so I searched on here and found that people recommend sikaflex 252 (its what they recommend for trims that you don't won't glued permanently - ie you can take them off with not too much hassle say if you were getting your car repainted etc) - its good stuff holds it there pretty good.

x2 for black, as long as you also have the calais lower door moulds (in the same colour as your upper door moulds).

on my car i don't have the lower door moulds so my calais skirts are the main car colour (although previous owner had done that).

it would look a bit weird for a VL if you had silver (or mx grey) upper door moulds, then car colour on lower half of door, then black (or worse - silver) calais skirts, and would stand out even worse on brighter car colours (yellow, red, white etc) just my opinion tho

i agree it would look weird if i didn't have the lower door part silver aswell but it is silver, asteriod silver so thats why im tossing between silver or black. You can kinda see it in my pic that the lower half is silver
