First i love you work man dedicated and u know what ur aiming for looks good.
I did the thermo thing. no diff in cooling. I used a voltage switch to the temp sensor with an adjustable pot (jaycar kit). Relays, wiring, had to run an r33 90 amp Altinator. And between the new temp sensor, wiring, old dash I'm not sure where the optimal temp was.. But learnt a lot
In short
They weigh a ton.
There very hard to tune. My way because davo cragee probe leaked
If I was to do it again I'd buy a new clutch fan hub.

yeah mate starting to think to go back to clutch fan but will see how this goes just wanted to clean bay up

updates: had her going running on 4 psi went good then fuel pump died and had to play with timing dump pipe ended up too close to the ground about 80mm
while on the way to drop her off to get dump pipe lifted i lined up my mrs vy l67 s pack and vl was pulling away till the good old head gasket went bang lol

i had checked timing and used a wide band to check afr's and was all good but it did not last lol

it is now getting a head shim and oem head gasket

new block dropped off to get forged slugs and hotty bits to make a big hp motor so when this one gives up i can dump her in

got her all going again after the blown head gasket

then the bad news the s@#t ebay to4z turbo started to make some funny sounds
found it to be compressor wheel hitting inlet

so not knowing what to do ended up getting my plastic out and calling garrett to buy a gt3540r and putting her in

we then pumped it to 8psi, pulls hard as even now its been decomped

also preped a lot of the car ready for a respray. droping her off tomorrow for it to start getting sprayed. only got seven weeks to the wedding now so have to get a move on (:

here are some pics

Very nice mate. Do it once, and do it rite! Clean white. That's exactly what I want to do to mine. Things like this take time though. That's my biggest enemy.
What's the colour? Heron white? Off the later model holdens. Keep the updates and pics coming.
