I hope your not going to put 20" chromes and tan leather with your beast... Ifso, I'm sorry but we just can't be friends any more.

No way, but if money was no option I'm sure a deep read leather interior and chrome AMEs wouldn't be far off

Doesn't it just smack of unreliability? It strikes me as the kind of thing that would break down in the city when it got too hot and vapourised it's own fuel; or, say, snap a tailshaft coming onto the M4 trying to impress two old guys in a Tarago. I can't speak from experience, but it strikes me as that sort of car

Nah man, it's just not a combination I can think of seeing before. Traditional Calais trim, pin striping and silver/grey paint scheme although red door stickers, modern styled 19 inch wheels with the big PBR brakes (red), smoothed bay, 2.5L Turbo etc.. just a nice tasteful mix, not too out there although not something you see every day. It's tough to do something different in the VL world and have it actually look good, although I think Liam might just do it - on a budget as well.

You don't get anywhere doing business like that mate, everything on this build has a price tag attached to it. The paint and bodywork was paid for in cash, and the motor and trim were sourced privately - no freebies here

And HLUCN8 became BOWDWN, a charcoal/black Calais with Hell Boy airbrushed on the bonnet

na i wasnt saying the whole thing was handouts, but good business says that if it will get some promotional work, people will be looked after... more power to you if your getting looked after!

Bas said that he wouldn't let it leave the shop without chopping the springs just so it looked a bit better, but alas we ran **** out of time for that. Once the car is more complete it goes to Pedders for a full suspension rebuild. That oughta sort that pesky ride height out

I agree man just get coil overs or some shit, whatever Pedders reckons to get it in the weeds and if it's not low enough we'll just cut em.
