first car...

hi guys. well im about to buy my first car (being a vl, ofcourse!). its my bosses car, in pretty good condition, white in color, 160,000 kms on the clock, stock as a rock, i have been in the car virtually everyday for the last few months and it goes pretty well, diff is tight, auto seeems to select very quickly, motor runs like a charm, and generally the car looks tidy. my boss is asking $1300, with reg, do you guys think is is an ok price?

what do you guys think i should do to it? i was thinking of dropping it over some fresh interceptors, respray bumpers/trims, fit calais interior and fit a minispool :P for fun. what springs/shocks should i go for? i want it sitting really low (but legal too) do u guys got any pics of vl's sitting on cepta's and dumped? post em up if yas can, wonna buy my suspension and stuff in the next few weeks, just going all nolathane bushes, adjustable panhard rod, lowered springs/shocks, new drilled/slotted discs (or possibly a brake upgrade, dont know what size brakes will fit it nicely?)

any help greatly appreciated.

Heaps of brake upgrades are available mate. Don't bother with VT's though, you'd be much better off spending a little bit more and getting doing a 4-pot conversion. I'm running S5 RX7 calipers up front with VLT rotors and their impressive to say the least. Pm VHR32 for more info if its brakes your after!
