Hi

Anyone put a plazmaman plenum on there turbo setup. Are they any good. They certainly look the goods. Just wondering if there is any major differences because of the price.

Any info would be great.

After market plenums are for looks and accessibility to injectors etc.

As for performance. Its not going to make a ton of difference..
You may notice a change in throttle response as the after markets have bigger surge air retention.

Just make sure what ever aftermarket plenum you choose it has trumpets in side the chamber. I think this helps even air delivery or something to do with pressure/turbulence

Having said all that vl god runs a modded (forward facing and port matched no doubt) vl turbo plenum.

I would be using one for a few reasons, mainly to reduce improve the look and accessibility to the engine, shortening the cooler pipe from what I've got now which could only help reduce lag and hopefully deliver better airflow.

I do like the look of them so it ticks all the boxes other than feedback on them.

They look pretty, no idea on the performance.

I think a well designed plenum like a CPC one, that has had done flow work on and back to back on cars makes more power is a good choice.

In saying that plenty of cars running deep numbers without them.. could the be better probably but it works.

They have a very good reputation on all the twin cam engines, i dont love that they use standard runners but thats not a huge deal. I have a jpc plenum and don't love or hate it, if i had my time over i would buy a plazmaman.

I bought one for my car, didn't notice a whole lot of difference but saying that it has not been tuned etc.
They really do look the goods though, and are fairly easy to bolt up

all in all i would recommend getting one if you're willing to fork out the cash
