if its little things here n there yeah i could i mean to get ontop of it and get it running id spend a bit but not ridiculous amount... in future i will be rebuilding it but but not in the next year or 2... then again don't want to be in and out of mechanics..

its the little stupid stuff on the car that puts it off, firstly he took the proper turbo badge off and put it on the glove box then brought a red one and put it in the incorrect position, the interior and engine look alright from the pics but the body looks dull and faded so its probably been an outside car for years, if you do buy it get some new rear and front lights and gaurnish and give it a cut and polish, when its a vl its always good to go with a mechanic or someone that knows cars well cos almost all vl's have problems now days even the grandpa ones.

Few things I noticed after looking at the pics

-Looks like it is missing most of the chrome strips off the trims
-Bars have been painted at some point as they are missing the black strip
-Poor alignment of bonnet / pop up lights
-Boot is also misaligned
-Right rear tail light doesn't seem to line up
-Missing badges

Would not be surprised if it has been in a crash

AVO intercooler is aftermarket.

I believe Stage 1 was a sidemount intercooler. Stage 2 was a front mount.

Pretty sure it required 1 hole to be cut also.

Raptor on here is selling his genuine converted Calais Turbo for around $11,000 i think, genuine 200,000kms and it's an absolutely mint car, personally a little expensive for me, but deffinitely worth the money.

rear end has definately been pushed in at one stage. that or the taillights hgave been out and some mounts are broken / non factory mounting gear / missing bolts.

more likely it has been smacked and the rear panel which holds the lights and garnish wasn't properly fixed.

My new Calais Turbo is factory 5 speed factory sunroof 230,000kms got it for $6000...Be pointless & waste of money buying something non genuine very hard to sell in long run.
