so you do admit to hopping the humps like that? lol..I have good handling and a comfortable ride with HD coils and Bilstien shocks..but there is a lot more to suspension than just springs and shocks...

Ive just done all of the above. New bushes, adj strut tops, good tyres, lowered springs and shocks. Handles pretty wicked now. Im happy with it. Now to make it go fast.

lol at some people who think the harder the suspension the better the handling.

i made the mistake of putting in pedders springs/shocks in my current vl and **** am i regretting that, feels like the car will snap in half if i go over even the smallest bump without braking, god forbid i go over the train tracks at more than 15kms/h. anyway i guess this isnt really the point of handling, but **** do i hate pedders.

Before I took my commy of the road, I decked out the suspension with kingsprings kyb shocks 30mm swaybars adjustable front camber & caster. panard rod heaps of nolathane bushes everywhere etc. I found with the camber caster on the front it made it sit higher than the rear so had to get higher springs for the back. I then had to get harder springs for the back to stop my 17's from rubbing. Dosn't sit stupidy low, but sits flat. and it dosn't handle like a whale any more !!!!

There are a lot of other things i would fit before an LSD...for instance, if ur rear shocks are stuffed, then ur LSD wont work to its full potential....and with all that "Glue" like traction you are talking about, you want to be able to stop the thing, and for it not to handle like a Quintrex when drifting corners(on a track of course)....but hey....at the end of the day its up to you....I just see too many times, people modding their cars to go faster, or have more traction, when they still have std springs and shocks, flogged bushes, n/a disc/drum brakes which have worn out and bald tyres....

C'mon fellas....priorities...

Adjustable Castor rods,Whiteline Swaybars with nolathane bushes, some good japanese tyres,height/damper adjustable coil overs of your choice.. and maybe a strut brace

but then if your not a racer, you dont need this.. this will set you back more then your turbo/ecu package

better off to make the car go round corners and stop before you make it go any faster...I hate seeing conversions with std n/a suspension, brakes,..just my opinion, but i am sure there are a lot of people who share the same opinion..
