Vl ecu

Is the ECU bolted in?
Does anyone have a picture of the screw that holds the kick panel in place .

You have to undo the panel bolt, remove the panel

Maybe even remove the lower dash trim, but if u can't be bothered then don't

Then remove the 5 bolts and remove the lower mounting bracket

Disconnect the wiring loom(s)

Pull the ECU down (carefully) from the upper mounting bracket and Presto
