The mystery problem (over fueling + Timing)

Hi there guys. First of all thanks for looking into my thread. The problem that has cursed my poor vl is that its recently had hi comp tubro (arrrr here we go!) and its having a issue with it over fueling and killing my plugs then it's also apprently its not tuning to the standard 15 degree timing. Ive got it at the mechanics at the moment and he seeming to be unsure of the exact issue, he says he can only time it to 0 or if he moves a tooth on the dissy it jumps to 25! We have so far tryed replacing

.3 different vl computers (stock na, nistune, stock vl tubro)
.airflow meter
.cooling temp sensor

Ive also giving him a different dissy for a cas change over but his pretty sure that isn't the issue. Dont think his checked the timing belt yet so im thinking that where ill head next (sad i need to recommend stuff?!) The gear on the engine is a standard vl tubro setup plus a intercooler. Any ideas for I just decided to get it back and tear out the dirty 30 woukd greatly appreciated

Ps the mechanic has recommended buying and installing a Wolf 500 ECU which would have a maf less tune, would that help?

Hey mate no expert here just had few problems of my own. Are you running standard vlt injectors and fuel reg? Any boost/vac leaks throwing the computer out? I think an aftermarket ecu might help especially to tune......if anyone else has more info please correct me.

I'm no expert but no you don't need a aftermarket ÉCU
When you put the dizzy in/out it jumps too far sometimes
Seems to me like he is skipping over, needs to be at 15 degrees!
