Hertz gear thoughts?

Anyone here running Hertz gear?

Was looking at it today, and it looks like pretty good gear.

Anyone have an opinion on it ?

when i sound auditioned hertz in my price range I felt mb quart was a better sound. as always set a budget in your mind then go listen to some but yeah they are pretty good when i last listened. a lot of these manufacturers have 2 lines of product aswell. the good stuff and then stuff made with their name but lower quality ingredients and assembly.

You can buy Hertz HSK 165 component speakers on ebay. I picked them up for $135 delivered from this seller in the link below. At this price they are argued not to be genuine hertz product, but you wouldnt tell by looking or listening to them. I have played with some car audio gear over the years and these outclass anything in this price range, genuine or not.

It looks like they have lifted their prices since I purchased a set. Definately worth a look in.

Hertz are alot better than any factory Commodore speakers, MB Quart are on another level though.

Ive found the top of the range Sound Stream speakers to be very loud & clear aswell.

LJ is also a good brand but they don't seem to have as high an RMS output when i was doing my system

genuine hertz is incredible...... much on par with quartz in my mind except the hertz are bassier..

i did an install in a mates car with genuine hertz fronts and ebay hertz rear and they couldnt take the same power off a 4 channel amp , so alot to be said for genuine i believe... since then the non genuine have begun to break down/distort alot too

just my 2 cents

Hertz is fantastic! But there is alot of fake products for sale, particularly online/eBay..

If your after insane quality & not fussed about the price, id invest in the Hertz Mille range or into Audison.. Otherwise the Hertz Hi Energy range is reasonably priced & great sound quality..

Lucky for me, the NSW Rep is a good mate lol..
