Any recommended mechanics who work on old v8s?

Hi fellas, a lot of recommended mechanics are outdated. I need to do a major service, timing, turning on my vk calais 308. I live in the south suburbs. Does anyone have someone they know well who knows what they're doing? My mechanic has gone to engine fabrication and building now no mechanical work.
