Hey team,

Bit the nostalgia bullet and bought a VL after not owning one for 10 years. Planning full restoration.

From what I can tell, my wagon does not have the rear centre bumper overmoulding. Was there any progressive changes between 86-88 that means it should or shouldn't be there?

The wagon is an March '88 make. Originally Maranello Red but crappy respray to white as it currently stands.

I can only find this on Rarespares which states it is for a sedan only - thoughts? https://www.rarespares.net.au/raresp...ore-sedan-rear

Sorry mate I buggered that up - March 1988. N/A 6 but will Turbo as part of build.

Returning to Maranello and MX Grey bumpers - as OG as possible.

Any thoughts on the rear tailgate plastic strip?

Also the square rear window surrounds? Wreckers?

Hey mate the plastic lower tailgate strip would have been on yours originally they usually get broken and people leave them off especially since it’s been painted, as for the rear tailgate window moulds can be brought brand new on eBay hope this helps and isn’t to late
